My name is Christina David and I work in the statutory benefits group of the WorkCover department.

Prior to life at Wisewould Mahony, I worked as a Paralegal for a Personal Injury firm, while finishing off the last two years of my law degree. I was admitted to practice in April 2012 and began working in a mixed WorkCover and Employment/ Industrial Role. I then began working at Wisewould Mahony in March 2013. Initially I worked in the Common Law department, primarily on circuits in Northeast Victoria. After two years, my role transitioned and I now manage the defence of ‘no fault’ WorkCover litigation.

Although I have always been self-driven, my main professional driver is the simple need to always deliver the best result for my client. I am a perfectionist, passionate and live by the theory that the best outcome is achieved when a strategy is developed from the outset of a proceeding.

Being a lawyer keeps you on your toes; you’re constantly thinking, analysing and strategizing. This is what I like most about the job. That and the fact that there’s never a dull day. It is unequivocally an intellectually stimulating and challenging job.
