I am Bob Carpenter.

After 44 years in the law, including 40 of those years at Mahonys and now Wisewould Mahony I know that like a batsman in cricket a lawyer cannot survive without support from a strong team. I have such a team with me at Wisewould Mahony.

I advise corporations, including financial institutions and individuals in commercial transactions and office leasing. This includes resolution of commercial disputes but perhaps more importantly, drafting documents for clients so that disputes do not arise.

Really it’s not that much different to opening the batting. Get behind the ball, play straight until you have assessed the wicket and the bowler and then don’t be afraid to get on the front foot. Advising clients requires listening, understanding and applying knowledge to the conditions presented so that a sensible, commercial outcome is achieved. The team working with me at Wisewould Mahony adopts that approach.
