Q. Can I choose where my money is invested?

  • WNL periodically provides particulars of mortgages available to its investors. From the mortgages investments available, investors may choose which mortgage/s they wish to invest in. No investor funds are ever placed in a mortgage investment without the relevant investor specifically requesting that their funds be placed in that mortgage investment.

Q. When do investors receive their interest payments?

  • In most cases interest is paid by borrowers to WNL monthly or quarterly in advance. Upon receipt of interest from borrowers, WNL then makes interest payments to investors (preferably) direct to investors’ nominated bank accounts.

Q. If Reserve Bank interest rates rise or fall, will this affect an investor’s return?

  • No. Once an investment is made in a particular mortgage, the interest rate is fixed for the term of that particular mortgage.

Q. How much does it cost to enter a mortgage investment?

  • It costs investors nothing to enter a Mortgage Investment. All set up, legal costs and expenses are paid by the borrower.
